"Black present" Tee (Multiple Tones)

Changing the narrative on "black history" , "black present" is a concept to bring recognition to history being made in the present, by colored individuals in our communities. We always heard "It's hard to get appreciated where you're from", but we want to give you your flowers.

The art behind this design has been made intentionally to have shallow facial features, not giving a direct interpretation of who these figures are. It's because we believe "black present" isn't one name, one face, or one identity for everyone. "Black present" is personal.

To appreciate, to acknowledge, to give colored individuals their flowers is the purpose of this design. We hope you can do exactly so while wearing this piece, with a person that represents it in mind.

And with all this said, we have to give our flowers to PHIA ART ( A local black artist from our city, Boston) who we collaborated with on the art of this design.
